Another Decent one on a smaller 6” black/white buck tail streamer... it was a great fight to get him down below me into and eddy so I could land him... class 4 rapids muskies... gotta love it!

Guided trips for trout,musky and bass

  • My name is Ian Pence and I offer guided fishing trips for trout,musky,smallmouth bass and northern pike, in central, northern and south western wisconsin. I have been fly fishing since I was 15 years old for trout. Since then I have added many species to my list, with musky, smallmouth and largemouth bass, pike and trout being  my specialties. I have fished all around the country for many different species from Alabama redfish, bluefish and ladyfish to Yellowstone cutthroat, rainbows and browns. I hope I can share my fly fishing experience with you!  I offer full day and half day trips that are 4hrs and 8hrs long not including any travel time. I also have top of the line equipment, for  every species, for my  clients to use. Each trip will be tailored to each customers needs. Trout trips will be all walk and wade fishing in south western Wisconsin in the driftless area and the sand country areas of central Wisconsin. Musky trips will either be a  float trip in a very stable, comfortable sea eagle 375fc inflatable pontoon outfitted with a trolling motor on the Wisconsin river and it’s flowages and northern rivers and their respective flowage’s or the trip will be out of a 17’ lund explorer ss equipped with state of the art electronics. Come have a blast and enjoy some of  Wisconsin’s best fishing and scenery!   Prices are as follows....Full day walk and wade trout trip:$275 per person.... Half day walk and wade trout trip:$150 per person..... Full day musky/bass/pike  trip: $400 ($250 per extra client).... Half day musky/bass/pike trip:$250 ($150 per extra client).... prices include all equipment and flies....(all float trips limited to one client at a time, boat trips are limited to two clients and walk and wade trips are limited to two clients) .......There is a 50% deposit required at least two weeks in advance of trip to secure the date. (100% of deposit will be paid back for all trips As long as they are cancelled one week in advance) Prices do not include gratuity....You  just need to bring snacks, drinks,sunglasses,waders(if necessary; I do have some hip boots and waders available in limited sizes), rain gear(if necessary), a dry bag for your gear( I usually have an extra to use)and a positive attitude!
